Abstract:
This study analyzes the factors of intellectual capital influencing the financial structure of Vietnamese commercial joint-stock banks from 2012 to 2022. The author utilized data from the annual audited financial reports of 26 banks and supplementary information from reputable sources such as Vietstock.com, applying Bayesian linear regression method to analyze the data. The research results indicate that variables impacting the financial structure in opposite directions are the effective use of capital structure, the effective use of human capital, the effective use of relationship capital, profitability, and asset structure. Conversely, bank size has a positive impact on the dependent variable. This study not only provides profound insights into intellectual capital but also helps banks make smarter decisions and business strategies for sustainable development.
