Green Business Orientation, Corporate Social Responsibility and Green Innovative Behaviour on Sustainable Business Performance in Vietnam: The Mediating Role of Green Innovation

Abstract:

This study aims to elucidate the impact of corporate social responsibility on sustainable performance through the mediating effect of green innovation. Accordingly, the manner and timing of green entrepreneurship orientation influence the green creative behaviour of employees in small and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam. A total of 409 data samples were collected from chief executives and middle-level managers and subsequently processed through quantitative methods using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 24.0 software. The research results indicate that corporate social responsibility not only directly affects sustainable performance but also indirectly influences business efficiency through green innovation. Furthermore, aligning the business with a green model positively contributes to green creative behaviour among personnel within the organization, thereby enhancing sustainability. The study has given out several managerial implications to assist business managers in gaining a deeper understanding of the impact of corporate social responsibility, green innovation, green entrepreneurship orientation, and green creative behaviour on business sustainability.
