Quyết định mua bảo hiểm y tế của người dân Thành phố Cần Thơ

Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu là phân tích các nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến quyết định mua bảo hiểm y tế (BHYT) của người dân trên địa bàn Thành phố Cần Thơ. Với mẫu gồm 400 quan sát được thu thập theo phương pháp chọn mẫu ngẫu nhiên phân tầng kết hợp chọn mẫu ngẫu nhiên hệ thống, kết quả hồi quy Binary Logistic cho thấy, nhóm các nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến quyết định mua BHYT của người dân Thành phố Cần Thơ bao gồm tuổi, nghề nông/ngư nghiệp, nghề tự do, số người trong hộ, số người có BHYT, thu nhập, mức giá, khoảng cách, số lần khám và chi phí khám. Từ kết quả phân tích, nghiên cứu đề xuất một số giải pháp quan trọng nhằm tăng số lượng người mua BHYT góp phần nâng cao chất lượng dịch vụ chăm sóc sức khỏe.
The decision to buy health insurance of people in Can Tho city
Abstract:
The study investigates the determinants of customers’ decision to buy health insurance on a voluntary basis in Can Tho city. Data were collected from 400 participants using both random-sampling method and random-sampling system. Binary Logistic regression analysis shows that age, agriculture/fishery, self-employment, household size, number of people who have health insurance, income, price, distance, number of visits to hospitals and the costs associated with those visits influence the decision of the people to purchase health insurance in Can Tho city. Based on the results, this study suggests solutions to increase the number of people who want to buy health insurance in Can Tho and to improve the quality of health-care services.
