The Effect of Supply Chain on Accessibility to Bank Credit in Vietnamese Listed Companies

Abstract:

Using the linear regression model, the paper studies the influence of the supply chain on access to bank credit in Vietnamese listed companies during the period of 10 years (2010–2019). Research results show that the relationship between businesses and their suppliers negatively affects banks’ loan approval levels. In addition, factors such as total assets, financial leverage, and loan characteristics have different effects on the loans of companies. From there, the study proposes some suggestions to help companies easily access credit from banks and improve the credit relationship between businesses and banks.
